Installation
Installing CrateSync on your Mac
CrateSync is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple. It installs and opens like any other Mac app — no workarounds, no security settings to change.
It takes about 30 seconds. Follow the two steps below.
Is this safe? Yes. Apple has checked CrateSync for malicious software before it could be distributed. CrateSync only reads your file system and writes Serato's crate files — it makes no network connections and never touches your audio files.
Drag CrateSync into Applications
Open the downloaded CrateSync .dmg file. In the window that appears, drag CrateSync onto the Applications folder.
Open CrateSync
Double-click CrateSync in your Applications folder.
The first time, macOS asks whether you want to open an app downloaded from the internet. Click Open.
You're all set
From now on CrateSync opens straight away. You can eject the CrateSync disk image and delete the .dmg file.
